If pilot light goes out on trane xe 60 gas furnace will it affect my air conditioner
I have a Trane gas furnace xe 60 in my house, but am not sure how old it is. I noticed today that the pilot light had gone out, but the air conditioner is still working fine. If I do not re-light the pilot light, will it have a cause and affect on the air conditioner? The air runs on electric and the heat is gas, so not sure if that makes a difference.

Pilot light on or off makes no diff on AC. When theirs no flame the gas should shut off if u don't want to relight it till it gets cold id manually shut gas off or just relight it
