I have been searching for a certain movie for quite a long time now (without any success). Hopefully you guys (and girls) can help me. So, the movie is probably from the last two decades (maybe something between 1995 and 2011). I might be located in the genres drama and romance, since I believe it featured a relationship between a young (near adult) man and woman. I am so unsure because I saw not the entire movie. It was set in present time and I believe took place in the U.S . Two significant things about this movie are that it seemed to have an oddly paced plot with I think some flashbacks between now and then. And that the male main character seemed to have frequently some sort of dreams (or day dreams) in which he was in a desert, talking to an elder black man in a black suit, about life issues. That’s all I remember. See if you can do something.
