I have been blocked by Facebook from sending friend requests
Hi Help Desk Team my name is Alison I am having problems with Facebook they keep sending me messages about sending friend requests I am trying to send a friend request to my fave drummer in a rock band called Kiss Eric.Singer.338 Unable to send Friend Request. This Person has reached the friend request limit and can't accept any more. Eric.Singer.144 You're blocked from sending Friend Requests for 30 days. You've continued to send Friend Requests to people who don't know you, even though you've been warned. Sending Friend Requests to people who you don't know personally is against Facebook's Terms and could be considered harassment. If you don't change your behavior you could be permanently blocked from sending friend requests the block will be active for 14 days and 8 hours more I haven't done anything wrong so why do they keep sending me these messages I hope that you can help me with this many thanks

What does 'I haven't done anything wrong' mean?
This isn't about right or wrong; it's about Facebook rules. You have sent too many requests according to their terms.
You don't get to tell any site what to do.
You wait it out and don't abuse it in the future. Click on 'Follow' instead.

You don't mention whether you are trying to friend him on his personal page or on a fan page...

A lot of public people now have both on Facebook - the personal page for their friends and family, to which they WILL limit access, and a fan page that you can just "like" to get the things like tour dates, contest info, etc. You also have the option, as joypuly points out, of "following" them if they have allowed that option on their page, which allows you to view what they post publicly.

If you haven't had any friend requests yourself recently, after you accept or decline a friend request now, Facebook will ask whether you know this person outside of Facebook. From a friend who didn't have her maiden name on her Facebook, I can confirm that, if enough people don't recognize your name, you CAN be blocked from sending friend requests if enough people say "No" to that "Do you know this person" question - and then Facebook will REALLY watch what you're doing.

In short, I get the distinct feeling that this isn't the only person who has declined your friend request and told Facebook they don't know you. Otherwise they wouldn't keep blocking you. I would suggest seeing if there are fan pages you can just like before you lose your ability to be on Facebook EVER. (I also know from my niece that they will watch for your IP address on future accounts should they entirely shut you out, and you will have to serve a "Facebook free" time before they will allow you to open a new account if you mess with them.)

Seriously, Alison, you may not see that you're doing anything wrong, but the electronic evidence against you is rather hard to fight. Don't send any more friend requests for several months and then make sure you only try to friend people who actually know you and see if these messages stop.

You shouldn't send out friend requests to people who you don't have many mutual friends with. That's one of Facebook rules. Also, there's a limit to how many friend requests you are going to send in a certain period. You're account should be active first before they give you permission to a lot of things, like more friend request, etc.
