Please help. Not sure if I'm in a verbal abusive relationship or just afraid of love.

This is my problem with my boyfriend. We have dated for a year. Things were really great at first, my kids liked him, he liked my girls, at least I thought so. Well he also has kids. Mine always seem to do everything wrong. He brings up my past constantly. I don't bring up his past.

We do not live together, but he wants me to move in. But I'm stalling. I've seen him get angry and say harsh words. He just recently started yelling at me. He is very mean over text and he criticizes everything I say. He has chased all my male friends away, and he has threatened two of my daughters, and my ex husband, my kids dad.

I was in a abusive marriage for many years, but finally got out. Its been me and my girls for many years, but when my boyfriend and I met I really thought this was it, something good, but not so sure anymore.

I need to know if he's abusive an controlling?

I wouldn't move in with him or continue your relationship. Sounds like a larger problem just waiting to happen.

Yes he is abusive and controlling and what started so good has gone very bad and likely to get worse if you move in OR stay with him in a relationship.

He is bad news and you're lucky that you are seeing it before you move in.

Threatening your daughters? Really? Unacceptable. I would NEVER put up with someone that threatened my kid... in fact, I'd probably be in jail for knocking their teeth out. The other stuff he is doing is out of hand as well.

You are better off finding someone that will treat you and your kids right... they are out there, you just can't settle.
