    Determine the magnitude and direction of the resultant of the three coplanar forces
    Determine the magnitude and direction of the resultant of the three coplanar forces given below,when they act at a point:

    Force A: 10 N acting at 45 degrees from the positive horizontal axis
    Force B: 87 N acting at 120 degrees from the positive horizontal axis
    Force C: 15 N acting at 219 degrees from the positive horizontal axis

    Do you know how to do vector addition? Break each force vector into its x and y magnitudes, add the three x magnituides to get the total x magnitide of the resukltant vector, and do the same for the y's . Then convert the total x,y magbitudes of the resultant to a total magnitude and direction. Hope this helps.
