I have a 34 yr. old son who suffered brain damage due to being beaten. He had an appt. after release from hospital to see a neuro surgeon. His wife didn't take him. He hasn't been the same person since the beating. He out off it most of the time. Wife doesn't take care of him & refuses to let me. Can I get a court order to get my son to a doctor?

If it can be proven he is a danger to himself and others. At least in the USA.

I assume his disability extends beyond "not being himself". As you or your agent will have to present proof it beyond the legal baseline.standard to the court.

I would suggest speaking to an attourney on the subject to find out if the requirements are met.

I don't know where you are but if you can prove he is in danger you can attempt to get legal guardianship of him.
