    Plumbing in chilled water line
I am connecting a brass control valve to copper pipe in a chilled water application. Do we need to use dielectric or not? Kindly help with suggestions and explanation. Why is dilectric used?

Please note that faucets are brass and copper pipes are connected to faucets. No dielectric. Now do you think you need a dielectric?
