I am possibly pregnant. I am usually regular in my periods. But, this year, I've only had it on feb. 21 And apr.06. I came back from basic on may 17. I have had sex since then and quite often. All unprotected. Well, I took a test in the beginning of the month and it came up positive? How far along would that make me?

So... you are looking forward to having a baby? You were trying pretty hard at it.

YOu have to see an OB/GYN... and even then they6 can only guess to a 30 day period... meaning they guess a time with a two week window before and after, medical science can't be any more precise... are you hoping for a boy or girl?

If the question of who the father is behind your asking... you have to wait until the child is born and have a DNA test done... and let the prospective fathers (if there is more than one) know now...

That's the problem... I really don't know when my next period was supposed to be. Already had 2 positive tests. But dojt want to go to a doctor yet.

I only have one partner. My boyfriend. And I'm not sure yet what I want.

If you had two positives... I'd say you are pregnant, false positives are rare... false negatives aren't when testing early, they trigger on a specific Hormone.. Its time to let him know and time to find yourself a OB/GYN so you can start getting the right prenatal care.

Exactly WHY... there was nothing I asked that was either wrong or out of line... based on the information you provided.

Well if it was a two week window, it would say I got pregnant maybe late April or early may but I haven't had sex until I got back. How would that be possible?

It's a two week window BEFORE and AFTER their best guess... thats actually a four week window. THat means it could have been any day in that four week period... and the day it happened might have been a few days after you had sex. Its not always the same day.

But it still doesn't add up. Im lost.

I've bveen around the block more than a few times... I'm 52... and managed to never father a child I didn't intend to because I never took those chances... even once. And I've dated and slept with dozens of women before I met the one I wanted to marry and did..

Not using protection several times... actually is trying pretty hard... and over 75% of the women that post here needing to know WHEN they conceived admit to having had sex with more than one man in that month... though few are upfront with that in their question... Search through the threads here if you doubt me...

Well not me... its just that I didn't plan on getting pregnant and didn't think it would be that fast. I have had many times unprotected with him before I left and I never got pregnant.

That was pure luck... just so you know... all he has to do is brush the tip of it against your vagina and it becomes possible.

Consider it like a leaking garden hose... that doesn't quite shut off... you don't have to turn it on to get wet.

And that is actually a VERY accurate analogy.

Many women get pregnant the first time they have sex. Its even possible to get prenant while using protection... even more than one kind at once.
