I will most likely be given a random ETG test on Thursday morning. It is Monday night (8:00 pm) and I had 2 Mike's Hard Lemonade's at 8% alcohol each. I am 5'7" and weigh 130 lbs. Do you think I will pass after 56 hours?

Why are you being tested? Employment, probation?

But, yes, you will probably pass.

I am on probation for a DUI. I have not touched a drop since I started a month and a half ago, but have had some really bad things happen lately and I cracked. I am pretty paranoid and scared.

Honestly, you should be scared. If for some reason you test positive, you know you'll go to jail. I don't know why I'm telling you that. Apparently you already know.

If alcohol is your crutch you need to offer to go to counseling before you "crack" at the wrong time and go to jail.

I am already in counseling and have been doing very well. Even the best slip up sometimes. It is not like I am out there carelessly doing things and have no conscience about it. Who are you anyway and why are you so mean to people looking for advice? Where is Dr. Bill?

Mean? You think it's mean to suggest that if you are on probation, know you are subject to random testing and drink anyway a suggestion that you seek counselling is a good idea? Let's see - you aren't supposed to drink, you did drink, you think you are doing "very well." If so, why are you nervous about testing?

Tell your counsellor what happened. Tell the Judge how well you are doing when you fail the test - or the next one or the one after that.

DrBill is on hiatus. Presumably he grew weary or answering the same "will I pass" questions day after day.

Mean would be telling you that my Dad was killed by someone just like you - on probation for DWI, was under pressure, drank and got behind the wheel... and killed my father. That would be mean.

You have every reason to be nervous. You promised you would stay straight. You didn't, and now you are mad at me?

You are a fool, and an angry fool to boot.
