    Hello, how are you all doing? I have a 96 Subaru outback, I have changed the following mas airflow sensor, pcv connector and fuel filter but my car keeps shutting off

    And why exactly did you pick those items to replace?

    What were the computer codes telling you then... what computer codes does it have now?

    Have you checked for spark or fuel?

    This could be anything from a bag ignition module to a fuel pump all the way up to a timing belt or even a head gasket. You can't just randomly replace parts and hope to hit it blindly.

    Because when I took the car the reading said mas air flow

    MAF code can be caused by a vacuum leak as well.

    Check for broken vacuum lines/hoses

    Don't overlook the possibility that there's a problem with the MAF Sensor Connector. Also, stay away from remanufactured MAF Sensors--my experience has been horrible.
