My 2 year old beagle/border collie mix I recently adopted has been sneezing a lot. He also had a lot of eye discharge. I can't really tell the color but it's like regular dog eye discharge but it's like he produces a lot if it. I'm taking him to the vet soon because its required & it's free. I just need to know some info. On this to tell the vet. Thank you.

Do you have to get meds for it?

The vet will probably prescribe antihistamines for him and you just keep an eye on him. Sometimes allergies can be food related and sometimes they can be environmental related.. both can be hard to diagnose what exactly the dog is allergic to.
