I have an older Kenmore washer -- circa 1994. I am trying to remove the water softener dispenser because it is clogged, I follow the instructions -- pull up the blue ring, which barely budges. Then I try to pull off the dispenser, and it won't move at all. Any suggestions?

Pop the top by using a putty knife on each side of front and pressing in on each clip to unlock it and raising top. You can then see what is holding it. You can use the links provided to download some manuals that will show you how to do anything:
