Should I still take a hpt?
I have been cramping with sore breasts on and off for 2 weeks now. That's very unusual for me. I tested - 3 days ago. Today I spotted once this morning then nothing else. Should I take another hot or will AF come? Has anyone had this happen to them? I just need ANY advice please. This is my first time asking a question. I really want a little boy. Any comments would help. Thanks~ Kaylee's Mommy

In all of that I see nothing about you saying you are late for your period. And it's a waste of time and money taking a test before you are two weeks late for your period.

Sorry yeah, according to my calculations I'm at least 3 days late. According to my ovulation calender I'm 2 days late. My periods are never on time. So was wondering if this was it or not because I've never spotted and stopped!

I definitely think with experience from my first that if I tested 3 days ago and it was negative. Then spotted this morning ill def. Get AF. Back tonight or something because in a four day period ia pregnancy would have DEFIANTLY shown positive. At least a faint. I'm just doing waaay too much wishful thinking. :'(

It's best to test 2 weeks after a missed period. Be sure to use first morning urine.

Taking one before you are two weeks late for your period means you are more likely to get a negative... even if you are.

Previous experience means nothing... until you have been pregnant long enough to produce enough of the hormone tested for... it will fall below the threshold of the test and return a negative.
