I cleaned between the connectors and when I put the switch back to on, I hear 2 clicks and then the well normally clicks on but today I hear the two clicks buy the well doesn't start working. What could be the problem?

The contacts are touching, we think it's the capacitor it's all rusted and has a hole in it, but we have to wait till Monday for the electric store to open

Went to electric store and they tested the capacitor and it wasn't working so got a new one so once the husband gets home with it we should have running water again :)
