I am 27 years old and had a tubal ligation 17 months ago, during a repeat cesarean. My doctor removed one inch of the tube and sutured each end. She told me before hand that burning was not advised because the tubes are bigger post-partum. I am still breastfeeding (though down to approx. 3 times a day) and have been getting regular, heavy periods for the last 8 months. My last cycle began on May 22 and was lighter than usual but lasted 6 days. I started having ewcm, streaked with blood on Tuesday (which would be CD21) and tapered off by last night. I have also had increased tenderness and swelling in my breasts, different from the normal breastfeeding side effects. It is a few days before my next period but I am getting worried because I FEEL like I may be pregnant. What are the odds that my tubal failed and what are some things that could be causing these symptoms? Thank you.
