I took a home pregnancy test almost 2 weeks ago it came back positive. I made an appt with a dr that took my insurance and when I got there a week later they only did a glucose test and blood work also urine. But never confirmed to me that I was actually pregnant. I told the nurse that I had light spotting and she told me it was normal that if I had have bad cramps with heavy period like bleeding then go to the ER. Not many doctors take my health plan so I feel stuck with this doctor but I am so not satisfied. Has this happened to anyone with little spotting of pink blood but then it went away?

Absolutely!! I have only had one pregnancy and all went well. She is now turning 7! I remember like yesterday. I was cramping and so I got mad and took my hot thinking it'd be negative... Nope I got apositive result then not until after that did I notice only a little pink spotting. It is totally normal do not worry unless you bleed red and heavy. Congrats!!

Spotting in early pregnancy is very common and very normal. The nurse was correct. Miscarriage symptoms are heavy period like bleeding accompanied by cramping.
