If I have diverticulitis do I need antibiotic for it to go away? My cramps are not as severe but still getting them. I haven't been able to eat and I've had diarrhea 4 days now. Not sure if I need to wait it out or get meds.

If you know you have diverticulitis then you were diagnosed by your doctor?

You can't just wait it out hoping it will go away, you must see your doctor again to discuss a treatment, especially if you can't eat and you are having cramps.
