    Buying a forclosed moblehome
I am living in a doublewide in Ga and have been for over 10yrs I have made every payment paid all taxes and up keep on it but it is in someone else's name. I own the land the mh sits on and have for 9yrs. The person who's name the mh is in has tried to evict me out of this home twice this year because they thought they could take my land too. I stopped making payments in November because once again the billing address and contact phone number was changed so I decided I cannot continue to pay for something I have no control or rights over. The last time this happened the mh company told me that if I let it go into foreclosure I could buy it back for about 20,000.00 less than the loan balance and I told them I could not do the other party in this wrong as long as they were willing to let me make the payments. The house is in foreclosure the loan company is not allowed to speak to me for legal reasons per the other person. Does anyone know what options I have or should I just cut my losses and evict the mh off my land?

let it go to foreclosure, and then the home will sell ( and yes you can buy it for a lot less, if the home has a loan value of perhaps 40,000 it will be lucky at a foreclosure sale to bring 10,000. You can merely bid on it along with everyone else if you want to.

And this is not dong anything to the owner, it appears the owner is doing this to you more than anything. This is just how the system works, and if you do not wish to work with the system and buy the home in foreclosure it is merely your loss.

But your options at this point is to buy it in foreclosure or to let someone lese buy it.

You should not be making the other persons payments, they can merely evict you anytime they want from the home ( really) and you can order them to move the home at any time. It sitting on your property does not give you any "right" to live there, merely to order it moved.
