I have a class 4 felony I had in 2005 . Can I get it removed? It is for deceptive practice. Writing bad checks. I have read that is expungable and I have also read that it is not. Anyone know for sure? Also want to know if its still a possibility if I receive government assistance like medical, public aid and housing?

You apply to your state. They may have a form on their website (your state.gov) for 'expunge' or 'pardon.' Only they can tell you if you will get it or not after you apply.
