There is a great answer to a similar question somewhere on the site. The answer is along the lines of no, but if you do try to cause injury to the fetus are you prepared to raise a "damaged" child?

The issue here is also location, if you punch the stomach, and it would damage or kill the child, this is not a miscarriage or an abortion, it is normally a crime and you can be punished

Such a brutal and terrible though to even think about! Did you already done this? You might hurt the child but possibility of abortion is less. Don't even think about such thing. My friend's aunt done such thing in past, she had a boy after that who has damage legs. So don't be cruel with yourself.

Because she doesn't want to have the baby. I think that's rather obvious. That's why she received the answers she received.
