Is there any 'defect' in my mobile phone?
I have xperia / Sony mobile phone, which I purchased one month back, from a shop, @Rs 13500. Today, when I was charging it, my friend ran into it and it fell on the floor. Now, when I switch it on, it gives a red/green sparkle on lower side of front. When I play music by touching screen, it again sparkles green/red.

Has it got a defect? If yes, is it rectifiable?

    It is touch screen mobile.

It probably has a broken screen connection. Unless you have insurance you will need to repair or buy another. Breakage from dropping is most likely not a warranted item.

Is this breakage going to affect the life or performance of my mobile?

Can 'this' screen connexion breakage be repaired easily?

I would take it to a phone store. If you have another phone you may be able to upgrade through that one. I lost a brand new phone. They wanted 200$ gfor a new one but since my wife also had a phone with the same company, I replaced hers with a 2 year extension, took that phone and it cost nothing.

Thanks for your reply. I am far from my residence, from where I have purchased my mobile, and I will ask the shopkeeper if it is possible to replace, as it is within warrantee/guaranttee. However, if he says no, can I get it repaired? Is it possible? And also
