Hello. I am 16 and I have had a yellow, sticky, and smelly discharge for a while. When I asked my pediatrician about it, she said that it should go away after I got my period, which was when I was 15. I have had my period for about a year and I still have the discharge.
I have gone to a gyno. And she said that nothing seems to be wrong. She prescribed me boric acid capsules to use and I have used them for a week but nothing is clearing up. Do I need to go back to the doctor or is there something else I may need to try?

By the way I have not had sex before.

Maybe it's thrush or another type of yeast infection? You should get tested, the doc will be able to tell you.

You will need to take your Doctor's advice for longer than a week to see an improvement.

I'd wait at least two weeks and then make a phone call to the Doctor.
