    Teen singer
    So I come from an extreamly small town population 10,000 and I want to be a singer. I was wondering if that's even possible or if I should just give up??

    All it takes to be a singer is to sing. But I suspect that's not what you are asking. I suspect you want fame. And that is much more difficult.

    Has your talent been evaluated? Do you belong to the chorus at your school or church? Are there local theater groups you can join? You also have to decide whether you want to work as a singer or whether its just fame you want. For every famous singer, there are dozens that make a living at it without the fame.

    How can you say that? The first requirement is talent. No amount of training or hard work can compensate for a lack of talent. However, hard work and determination will be needed to make a career as a singer, if the talent is there.
