He wants me to buy him a car with my school money and just put his name on it. I don't feel comfortable doing this but when I tell him this he gets upset. What should I do?

Instead of saying you don't feel comfortable, tell him a big fat NO.
(I would dump a guy like this - but why is this still ongoing? Why aren't you able to be more emphatic right from the start?)

Next if you put it in his hame, and he breaks up with you, you are out the money.

If you buy a car, put it in YOUR name, ( it is your money) and let him use it.
Then if you break up, he has to give it back

That you've asked such a question at all, shows you have serious doubts about the character and motives of your boyfriend.

It is never okay to loan anybody anything, unless you can afford to lose it.

That he knew you had the $2,000 bothers me as well. Why are you sharing your financial situation, and did it seem to you rather odd that when he found out, he wanted it? Keep your personal business to yourself.

Think about him getting angry at you at balking at loaning the money, and that he has the nerve to get angry when you don't.

This is a person who will take advantage of you, and you will lose in the end.

You do not have to explain yourself to anybody. Tell him no, and that's it!

So he's demanding that you buy him a car with your school money, and when you say no he gets mad? What else makes him mad? I'd bet there's a lot he's mad about.
