I was awarded a default judgement. I paid to have the order served to the garnishee's bank. 47 days later the bank stated they never received the garnishment order. When I called to ask why they only told me they had forwarded the information to their attorney. The bank called today to let me know the account had less than $100.00 and they would forward soon. Did I misunderstand? They only had 30 to 45 days to file an answer or they could be held responsible?

Yes I do believe there could be some issue here, did you do legal serivce to the bank ? The attorney who helped with your judgement should know the exact law and the terms on the judgeemnt you sent out.
