So I bleached the ends of my hair and they changed to a light orange / red . How do I get to a light blonde so if I ombré my hair blue the hair will not change to a green , please help!

When you apply bleach to black hair, it will go through the following color changes depending on how long you leave the bleach on: reddish brown, red, orange, gold, yellow, light yellow, and eventually white. You should never bleach all the way to white as it is very damaging. Go no further than light yellow, then tone to the appropriate shade of blonde. Or in your case I guess you could use blue :)
