I want to find the name to the HBO film I once saw either late 70's or early 80's about a streetwise non-believer young girl who suddenly is blessed with healing powers and who maintains her edgey appearance and demeanor but speaks the truth when so called leaders of the church and the media challenge her. You can see her transformation as far as believing but she exposes all the hypocrites who try to downplay her God given power and set themselves above her. She makes them look foolish.
