I need help remembering a show that I watched when I was a little kid. It had to have been the early 80's, or possibly a late 70s rerun. It was about a human looking alien boy who had run away from his planet. The boy had to wear a braclet (somehow connected to his home planet) on his arm. If it was ever removed, he would slowly die. In the show, a man and woman who were also aliens, but looked human were searching for him, but I'm pretty sure they weren't his parents. The alien boy befriends alteast one or two earth kids in his help. I'm pretty sure there was a dog in it as well, a dog that looked like the original Benji. I know this show existed, please help.

Yup, the show was called "Benji and the Alien Prince". He was also accompanied by this flying gold-colored droid called Zak. The baddies were this human-looking couple, they too had a black-colored droid (forgot its name tho')
