So my wife went to the hospital because she was bleeding for about 3 weeks. They told her she miscarried. Then after the other tests, they tell her she is pregnant as well with another. I just wanted to ask what the complications may be? How this is possible, and what could the possible outcomes be? I am currently deployed in Afghanistan, and worried sick about my wife back home.

The only way to explain it would be twins. If that is the case then having the one misscarry the other can keep going and it be a normal pregnancy. Mostly it all depends on what has happened and why.
