    What are distressed kidneys
My 35 year old daughter is in the hospital and has been told she has a tumor on her right ovary, extremely high blood pressure since being on bed rest in the hospital and her kidneys. She had a c scan yesterday and are giving her another one today with dye in her system to see more. She is on i.v.right now and every time they try and give her oral meds for pain, they do not seem to work as her pain is so extreme. Can you give me some info on all of this especially the distressed kidneys? Does this mean she may need a transplant at some point?

This is honestly information that you should be getting from her doctor. All we would be doing is parroting what we've found via Google. He will have better information based directly off your daughter's case rather then what you've remember and posted here. You have a better chance of getting the right information from them.

I hope your daughter gets better, that sounds like a crappy situation.
