I'm on my laptop and the internet is fine but not on my iPod I can't text my friends or go on instagram but I click Wi-Fi and our network doesn't show up and I have no clue what to do

Is your iPod wifi enabled and have you turned it on?

I don't know how do u enable it?

Do you see other available wireless networks on the iPod?

Try resetting network settings.
Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings.

Do not reset All Settings unless you want to loose your files.

If all else fails, Connect it to Itunes and Restore it. (You will loose files with this option)
