Getting into a residency program as a foreigner...
    Hello...

I'm hoping someone can help me.

I graduated with a MD from Cairo University in Egypt and I am currently living in Amman, Jordan. I have completed a one year internship program as well as getting 11 months experience.
I would like to get into a residency program (hopefully leading to Orthopedic surgery) abroad. Which countries allow foreigners into their residency program and what are the requirements?
If possible, my first choice would be Istanbul, Turkey. If anyone has ANY information please let me know.

    Much appreciated! :)

I have no idea what the foreigner residency programme is in Instabul Turkey. I know for sure that you could not practice as an MD in Canada without taking your education all over again.
