    Relationship Problems. Love is Tough.
I started talking to a girl on Facebook, as she was the girlfriend of a friend. We chatted a bit, and they broke up. (I later found out that it was because we were talking so much, about 600+ texts a day) And we carried on talking for almost half a year on whatsapp. I never had any "close" friends, so I never went out much. The girl is in another school, and I go to a boy’s school. That girl is the only girl I’ve really talked to in my life, and I think that we're pretty common. She’s a beautiful girl, and I’m really attracted to her. I really like her, but we've never had any contact. We're only 14 right now, (Which I know is REALLY young to start a relationship, but there’s guys in my school that have had girlfriends since primary school, so I’m kind of jealous :P) but I still feel left out since everyday I hear guys "getting off" with girls, going out, and stuff like that. I’m not really good looking, spots, pretty chubby too, so I’m not really sure why she keeps talking to me, but I really like her, and I want to meet up one day, but I have NO idea about any of it. Even if it’s not exactly a "date", I have no idea what to ask her to. I don’t know much about her, so it’s kind of hard for me to think of anything. And like I said, I’m 14, so I can’t exactly afford a fancy candle lit dinner or anything.

I want advice, but a problem is I’m scared. I’m scared that she’s going to think of me differently if we meet, and that I’m going to get shy, embarrassed and muck things up. I have no real information about her, or vice versa. I would rather keep talking by text than meet once and change her opinion of me.

Also, I ran out of things to talk about on text :) and I need stuff to say. I've searched up online, but all they say is "anything" or "school assignments" or something like that. I want actual topics I can talk about, and school assignments won’t really work since we're in different schools.

I really hope you can help me out, I’ve been stressed a lot about this, and I haven’t got any friends to "help me out" or anything.

Thanks a lot if you can help,

    Leon.

I'm a 14 year old girl. Honestly, I think you should tell her what's going through your head. If she is anything like me, she wouldn't care if you are chubby. She has to know what you look like already? If she is texting you THIS much, she MUST be interested in you. And for hanging out, just go to a mall nearby that you guys could meet at. Or go to the movies (mall would be better cause you could actually talk and get to know each other and you don't have to spend all that much money.) at the mall you could grab an icecream with her or something. That will TOATALLY win her over. Also, after you guys do meet, if she isn't texting you as much, just stop trying. Cause she isn't worth your time if she cares about your appearance .

How far away is your text buddy and how would you meet?

We haven't met, and I have no idea where she lives. The school she goes to is near (I think) but I haven't been there before.

Then you should have plenty to talk about finding out who you are dealing with.

I like the idea of going to a mall or park so that you two can talk in person. She may be extremely shy and might not think much of herself. The fact that you are only 14 means that you have a lot of life ahead of you. Take risks. Meet her and if things go good then GREAT, if not, oh well, move on. You will meet a lot of people in your life and things won't always go great but you won't know until you try.
