We have a continuous small leak from the freezer, but it appears to be coming from a small pipe on a back panel.

You need to unplug the unit and first remove the cover to the freezer coils and wash out and unstop the drain and clean the drain pan. Then remove the front kick plate and pull it out from wall, remove rear cover, and clean the coils and the drain pan. Wash the coils and pan out with spray soap and a water hose nozzle then vacuum up with a wet-vac. Make sure to clean the fan well, too.
