The arrest will appear on a background check - what happens next is the prospective employer's decision.
Was charges dropped, or were you found not guilty
Only you know what happened, did you make a plea deal with the judge for plea agreement
If you were there and don't know the outcome we don't have a chance!
I'm going to say, because of the community service requirement, that you were found guilty of something. Perhaps the charges were dismissed after the community service - but the arrest is still visible to certain people running background checks.
Yes, I have on my record petty theft, under $100, case was dismissed, nulled... Or some like that. I just do not understand what is not convicted, if I have all that on my record.
So when I filled out application it is was a question (have you been convicted in... ) so, court said I should say NO. ( I asked there're before fill it out)
But... If they see it anyway, what is the deferents, and do I have a chance to have a bank job?
Thank you every one for response
I went to court, didn't have a lawyer ( didn't know any better) judge ask me how do I plea, I said guilty... But judge still decide to not convict me... And send me to some class, community service, probation I think 6 months... That is all I know... and remember... Thank you
If you got probation you were found guilty. People who are found not guilty do not get ANY sentence.
Call the Attorney and ask. You cannot get something expunged if it never existed. Expunged means removed. If the Attorney expunged your record something was on your record.
