I have moved your thread from Introductions, where we just say HI, to the Skin Lightening forum, where I am sure you will get much more information.

I have read somewhere that when you are breastfeeding, it is not adviseable to take whitening products.. lotions, soaps, pills, etc. how true?

Hi, you can try a combination of two products. I am black African as well. Use Neostrata HQ Plus lightening gel with 4% hydroquinone with the sun screen included in combination with Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub. Use the facial scrub before applying the Neostrata 2 times a day. You should see gradual results in a few days. You may also want to try the body was with exfoliate from Aveeno as well.
