If you haven't had a period in 3 months you may be pregnant. You need to see your OB/Gyn if you are not getting your period. Not getting a period is a sign of pregnancy or you are no longer ovulating.

Why have you not had a period, are you pregnant ? Infection ? Over weight, getting older ?

There are many reasons for amenorrhea, but you will have to see your doctor for ultrasounds and blood tests.

With my third child I didn't have a period for 2 years and ended up getting very pregnant. Didn't find out until I was almost 5 months along.

Please make an appointment with your doctor.

I've been under some stress... I usually weight about 110 but I went to see my regular doctor and I weight 113.8. I recently turned 45. In February I received a hormone shot then in March I had heavy duty period... Then after that nothing. I'm scared to go see a gyno, but this week I'll make an appointment. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant, but I think it's too late for us. Three years ago was the last time a saw a gyno and she said everything look good.

    Thank you for your advice,
    Gina

Ah, your age, 45, that speaks volumes! Most likely you are in the beginning of perimenopause. Your periods will be totally irregular until they disappear completely.

Trying to get pregnant at your age would put you in a very high risk category should you conceive.
