I had my kitchen redone a few days ago, now my dishwasher runs, but no water will actually enter the dishwasher. I turned of the main electrical running to it, but that didn't help it reset, also, I have turned the shut off valve in both directions and still no water. Any ideas?

First, shut off the angle stop, disconnect the supply line at the sink, connect a plastic line to the sink end and turn on the water. Have water? If no, bad valve. If yes, connect everything back, water off, disconnect hose at the DW solenoid, put hose in bucket and turn water back on. Water at the DW end? If no you have a blocked or kinked DW supply hose. If yes, you have a blocked or bad supply valve/solenoid, a wire disconnected on same or a bad touchpad or timer circuit. .
