I just replaced the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, ICM, coil and spark plugs and my check engine light is flashing and is idling rough granted its been down for a couple of months and I start a new job on Monday and have a 20 mile drive to and from what do you suppose is wrong?

What codes were thrown?

Not sure yet waiting for wife to get home to take my car to autozone and get it read and thank you for the prompt response. My only thought is that the computer is messing with me and the gas is bad since its been roughly down for 2-21/2 months

Make sure you read your Owner's Manual on how to properly refill the cooling system, in order to prevent air pockets from developing. I've seen Honda engines need rebuilding from not doing this properly.

Oh wow yeah a friend of mine came down and helped me he's a bus transit mechanic and all he told me was to watch the overfill reservoir and when it hits the max line(we drained the coolant about a month ago) then there's where you stop I hope I did it right because I swear he told me to fill it through the radiator itself but thank you for the input I will check it

Frequently, you set the heat slide on Max Heat. You may be instructed to turn the ignition key to ON, which may open the heater control valve. Then, fill the radiator with a 50/50 mixture of the proper antifreeze and distilled water, until it comes out of the opened bleeder bolt. Fill the overflow reservoir to the Max Line. It's important to read your Owner's Manual, however.

Yeah I read it and am now convinced I have a misfire I let the car warm up like the manual told me to and didn't hear the fan kick on or see so I took the car out in my apartment complex parking lot and I have good acceleration shifting between first and second(since there's a speed limit lol) but I stalled twice and am worried I'll be a danger to myself and others on the road to drive a 20 mile to and from my first day at work tomorrow don't know what else to do also my temp gauge is where it always is when warmed up so it didn't move

Cylinder #4 mis fire and it's a timing issue and of course no tools or know how to fix it every time I brake and goes into low idle it stalls and I have to restart it in high idle its fine

Thoughts:

. Check the compression of each cylinder--it may indicate a problem with the valves in Cylinder 4.

. Replace the rotor and distributor cap, if they haven't been changed in 60,000 miles.

. Ohm out the spark plug wires.

. Lightly coat the porcelein portion of the plug and top electrode with a thin coating of dielectric grease.

. Set the timing with a timing light. If you don't have a timing light, and you sense the timing may be retarded too much, loosen the 3 distributor mounting bolts (12mm) and rotate the distributor slightly counterclockwise (CCW). This will advance the timing.

DO NOT DRIVE a vehicle with the Service Engine Light flashing. The timing belt was not installed correctly and is out of timing. Again. DO NOT DRIVE in this condition.
