Hello! My fiancée and I are opening a pool hall and need to know how people got funding to open one. Did you find investors, take out a small biz loan or what?

Any of the above. You can also try for local, state or federal grants. Check out sba.gov.

Are you willing to put everything you own on the line? If you answer no, then why would someone else loan you money? You may also want to speak with friends etc. Most times until you have a track record, it will be difficult to get a loan commercially.
