I purchased a bath room vanity from IKEA that has limited space for installing piping including a P trap! I did get it installed without the trap however, there is a sewer smell coming from the drain in the vanity. I know it needs a p trap but at the time I could not figure out how to get a trap for the limited space inside the vanity! This vanity has two draws that allows for a 4 and 3/8" space between the back of the draws to the wall. I cut an opening on the wall to give me enough space to attach the drain pipe from the sink but no room for a P trap. I don't want to cut any part of the vanity draws to accommodate a trap, and have search for a small but adequate P Trap to fit in the space - no luck. The space inside the wall is 3 and 7/16" deep. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
