Me and my girlfriend have been together for almost a year in July. We have gone through a lot together. Unexpected circumstanced came up and I am staying in the next state over from her, about an hour away. I texted her one day and no response. Then later that night it showed she was on Facebook Chat. I asked why she blew me off and she wrote HUH? And then called me. She said she had fallen asleep and didn't call because it was late.

A few days later I saw that when she sent me the message "HUH?" which mind you was at almost 3am it was sent from a different city from where she lives. When I confronted her she said that her phone must be messed up or Facebook because she was at home. The next day I realized that on Facebook it actually shows the details of the location and she was at a guy’s house who is supposed to be her friend but we have argued about in the past because I had a strange feeling about him.

I called her up yelling and she swears she wasn't there, it shows his street address and everything. My friends and family say there is no way Facebook is lying because when it shows your location it’s from satellite. Now she has switched the whole situation around on me and is mad at me. It’s been almost two days since she has made an effort to talk to me.

I don't want to be played for a fool, could Facebook have messed up on the location, or is she lying and what should I do??

Sure FB could have messed it up... They blow it all the time... but how likely is it that they messed up and put THAT guys address there? Don't you think that is kind of coincidental?

Let her go... move on... you know what's going on so why put yourself through crap? Don't bother.

Let her be mad, walk away, don't look back.

Facebook pinpoints your location via chat? o_O I know it says town (which I find is incorrect often), but actual address?
