Birth control pills help PREVENT you from becoming pregnant.
You need to talk to a doctor and find out the reason you are not conceiving.
Has the man had sperm count, are you tracking ovulation by body temp to time having sex on the correct days

I am experiencing irregular period from few months after I got married and am not able to conceive also. Will taking birth pills help to regularize my period. For how long I should take the pills and stop to conceive. Suggestion shall be appreciated.
Generally birth control medication can make your period more regular, or it can strop it for long periods. You should discuss this with your OB/Gyn
Please don't start multiple threads over the same issue. I've merged all your threads. Any further follow-up should be posted to this thread.
You NEED to discuss this with your OB/Gyn. Taking birth control to regularize your period and then stopping thinking it will increase your chances of getting pregnant is foolish. I don't know where you heard this, but if you are having trouble conceiving, then you need to discuss this with your OB/Gyn. You need to be tested as well as your husband. There are a number of things that can be done to regularize ovulation, not your period.
No I'm not a doctor. But that doesn't I don't know certain things. I only answer questions here where I'm confident my answer is correct. As a matter of fact. It took my wife and I almost 6 years to conceive our first child. We both went through a battery of testing, treatments etc. So I've researched this a good deal.
If you want to get a doctor's diagnosis, then go see your doctor, which is what I recommended.
My cycle last only for one or two days that too very less flow. Is this the problem for not able to conceive.
