I haven't had a true period since march 5th (the last day of my last known period) I took a pregnancy test on April 6th and it was positive (digital test) . I missed my period again in may but now today the 28th I started bleeding light pink mucus like blood.. Then it got really dark and had a brown tint and is very heavy if I'm not laying down . I'm going to the hospital tomorrow I'm just wondering what you think is going on with me?

I would recommend going to the doctor today. I would not wait until tomorrow. Bleeding while pregnant could be normal or it could be serious. I wouldn't wait.

Have you seen an ob/gyn at all? Why the hospital and not a Physician?

I haven't gone to an ob/gyn because I have not found one in my area that accepts my insurance so I have been waiting until this weekend was over to find one a little out of my area but then this started so I began to panic and decided to just go to the hospital tomorrow in hopes that maybe the bleeding will die down with inactivity, can I can safely make it to the hospital . You need to go to the ER now. Let them know that you are in your first trimester of pregnancy, at least according to HPT, and tell them that you are bleeding.

I'm not trying to scare you.

But I have experienced what you are.

About 8 years ago I became pregnant. I didn't see an OB/GYN yet, as it was really early in my pregnancy. However I do believe I had an appointment with one a week out or so.

I began bleeding. I thought that it was normal bleeding. I let it go. It did not take long before I started to get serious cramps and feeling really awful.

I had my boyfriend, hubby now, take me to the ER. I lost the baby. I was having a miscarriage.

Please don't wait. There is a chance that something serious could be happening.
