The house is in bad shape the landlord didn't hold up on his side where he wwas supposed give us door get a lock for the back door basically fix things. There is even a possum infestation in the roof. They fall through into my room and eat my food. My boyfriend is really abusive he has attacked me countless time even while I'm pregnant he also like to live like a pig with our other roommate who never helps me when he's beating me. The whole house except my room is dirty and smells from them not cleaning. They are on drugs and in the middle of the. Night start throwing things and making messes. For the time I was trying to wait to let the lease finish I've been living out of my room I've felt like I was in prison. It really stresses me out. I'm scared he going to make me miscarriage I need to break the lease asap

That's what I'm doing but my landlord is making it difficult he's knows the situation but is trying to get more money out of me and he hasn't even done what he was supposed to. I'm leaving either way but I'm trying to see if I'm right

First question, who is signed on the lease? Second, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

I would call your local housing department and ask them to come inspect the premises. Hopefully, they will issue an order that you can use to break the lease.

If not, make sure you take pictures of all the problems. Then send the landlord a letter stating that he has not made the repairs therefore you consider the lease voided. Then move out.

Do you have somewhere you can go NOW?
