The indoor blower of my central air conditioner does not stop when its outdoor commpressor stop running. What is wrong with it?

On most newer units, the indoor blower will run for a short period after the outdoor unit has shut off. This is completely normal, unless the indoor fan never shuts off. If it never shuts off, make sure the fan setting is on auto, not on.
