So, as people who read my other question will know , I have sufferd from headachs for 6 months, on Saturday night I noticed my pupils were 2 different size's... they keep going like it on and off,my right pupil seems to always stay smaller then my left.. anyway,I went to the opticians today,and she done as many tests as she could think of, I was in there for nearly an hour, and she said my eye sight is perfect, inside my eyes look fine etc etc... but she didn't know what the pupil thing was, and neither do I, I was hoping to get some answer's! I am so confused and even more stressed now! I was expecting to come out of there with an idea on what it was, be it a brain tumor or anything... anyway, now I'm utterly convinced I have a brain tumor and I am very scared! Has anyone ever had this before? The pupil thing that is... not a brain tumor... please help!!

You really need to see a specialist above and beyond the optician and basic eye doctor exam. You need to see an ophthalmologist, who is trained and specializes in treating various conditions of the eye. If the ophthalmologist does not work out to your satisfaction, then a neurologist.

I have an appointment to see an ophthalmologist, but that isn't until 23rd April.

Yes, they do have very full calendars. Have you seen your regular doctor and explained your symptoms? Maybe he (or she) can get you in sooner. Good luck.

As stated, you need to see a neurologist. They have many other more in depth tests that can be done to find out exactly what is going on.

Hi I experienced something similar last year and after exhausting all the eye options I went to a chiropractor for help with my back, she did some great excercises to my shoulders and neck which I hasten to add did not hurt at the time, I mentioned to her about the headaches so she did these excercises and heh presto no more headaches.anything is worth a try, do not stress about it as the tension makes it worse and as I was advised that builds up in your neck and shoulders leading to headaches which then affect your sight.

The chiropractor may have been good for you Louie, and it may benefit Leonna later. But, if you read the entire post, you will notice that she is havinga problem with her pupils in her eyes. One is slightly larger than the other. A chiropractor may be able to help with the headaches, but I am not too sure about the pupil issue. It is important she seek the threatment of an ophthalmologist and then possibly a neurologist for this particular problem.

Fair comment - different therapies work for different people. I agree all angles should be covered however felt this site was about sharing experiences and offering alternative ansas that had maybe not yet been explored.

Yes, you are right, and chiropractic is great for some people. My husband experienced HUGE relief, much like you.

But I think since she is having problems with the pupils, there is more gion on there than just headaches. There may be more going on there than just the headaches. Once she gets that issue resolved, I think chiropractic treatment may be an option.
