New grad RN was conditionally hired pending health screen and background check, during interview I told her I had several misdemeaners (6-8) and all were over 20 years ago, at that time she said it didn't seem to be a problem, I was called back to further explain the findings and now I am waiting for the decision. It never acured to me to be worried about this and I probably can get them expunged, are they stringing me along or do I still have a shot at getting this job? They said I should know in a week or so?? Help

The fact they called you back in, means they will consider anyway.

No most likely you can not have that many explunged, normally they will only allow one to be done that way, several shows a pattern.

There are many graduates, so you are fighting for limited number of jobs, You need to be sure and show you are not the same person
