    Wizard riding mower
We just bought an older Wizard Riding Mower, having to replace the battery which looks to be an sport utility/motercycle battery which costs a little bit more than what we wanted to spend, can we put a garden battery on it and it work?

The battery that is in there now is from a motorcycle? Obviously it worked but you probably do not need to use such a battery.

Most riding mowers use a general type battery... as long as the physical size will fit, you should be OK. Try Walmart or Sears or something like that and they should have a book to show you what battery will work.

If you have the space, no problem.
    Peace,
