Hello All,
I have just had two Omega Casablanca remote control Ceiling and Light fans fitted. My question I have noticed that when I use my microwave oven this will turn on the light or fan on these units, is this normal and how can I rectify the problem.

It is an infra red control. This product is sold in Australia, perhaps that is why you have not heard of it.

PS It is made by Omega Company and is called Casablanca Delta Remote Control Light and Ceiling fan.

I know very little about Australian ceiling fans, so I'm not sure what you have. Let's assume it is an RF remote. Have you tried switching frequencies?
